 Registered: 16 Sep 03 : 20:42 | 1: Back up DB. 2: Back up file contents via FTP 3: Download upgrade file if you are upgrading. 4: Copy files over. 5: Check for DB update "incase" 6: Run FileInspecter Then the "extra" mile- 7: Run DB optimize from e107 8: Run DB check from myphpadmin 9: Backup new DB 10: Backup new site file contents. And then the "EXTRA, extra" mile- 11: DONT go around and UPDATING all your sites. Although the updates are throughly checked, every person uses a different version of DBs, OS's and customization- you should check your own stuff prior. Thank you. Why would you need to download all the plugins again just to upgrade e107 - it's a single download (follow the link). Even if you had no plugins and wanted to try some, 20 a day is reasonable. After all - are you going to install and test 20 plugins a day to see if they are suitable for your site? 20 a day is there for a reasons - to prevent massive overheads on the server when people like yourself decide to download the lot for no good reason.  -- My most recent plugins are at plugins.e107.org |
